Silver Santa Is Here
For many years, during the Christmas holiday season, The Women's Council of HBREA has adopted a senior living facility through our Silver Santa initiative. In past years we were able to visit with the residents and play games, provide lunch and give gifts. Since the onset of the pandemic, although we are not able to enter the facility as a group for safety reasons, we began doing a Christmas parade along with gift giving as a wonderful alternative that the residents truly enjoy.

Our annual Silver Santa initiative is where we purchase gifts for the residents of a senior facility for the Christmas holiday. The gifts this year will include items like socks, blankets. We will also do a Christmas car parade along with Santa Claus for the residents, which they really look forward to!
