Silver Santa Is Here
For many years, during the Christmas holiday season, The Women's Council of HBREA has adopted a senior living facility through our Silver Santa initiative. In past years we were able to visit with the residents and play games, provide lunch and give gifts. During the onset of the pandemic, although we were unable to enter the facility as a group for safety reasons, we began hosting a Christmas parade along with gift giving as a wonderful alternative that the residents truly enjoy. This year we will be at the Memorial City Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

Our annual Silver Santa initiative is where we purchase gifts for the residents of a senior facility for the Christmas holiday. The gifts this year will include items like socks, blankets, etc.
